Youth Beginning Sewing Lessons Bring your machine or learn on one of ours. We will learn about the very basics in sewing machine use and safety and move forward into projects. Classes are available by appointment All materials are included $40 for a single student class $35 each for 2

This class will be taught by: Roxanne Page This class is appropriate for 16 years of age or older Introductory "Ice Breaker" class is also available. An Ice Breaker class might be just a warm up from years of not sewing or opening up a brand new machine and running through its features.

Beginning Serger Sewing or "Minor Sergery" Are you ready to get over your fears of serging? This class will show you how to thread your serger, adjust your tension, and how to sew with your serger or try out one of ours to see if serging is right for you:) All materials are included $35 per person |

Mending Jeans and Patching with Applique This class will teach you how to durably mend your mid weight fabrics and create a patch that will conceal your efforts. Ruggedly mend your man's work jeans, stylishly amend your going out skinny jeans. |
This class will be taught by: Roxanne Page This class is appropriate for Strong Novice Bring something to mend in a mid weight fabric, You can pick out fabric to mend with and for your patch or bring something you would like to work with. Skill level for this class is: Strong novice, you must be comfortable with a sewing machine already. Sewing machines are available if you don't have or want to bring one:) First come first serve! Stretchy Knit Appliqué with Scribble Sewing Embellishment This class is a little more involved than some of my other classes. We will do some hands on practice, though our focus will be on inspiration, planning, sketching, mock-ups and execution as a means to do your own personal project. There are a couple techniques I can share to make your own experience with this process smooth. This is not a difficult class, though it requires an apt novice or an intermediate sewist so that we do not need to review basics. No experience sewing with knits is necessary. This is a very creative process, if you have difficulty with sewing outside of the box, this class may help you to get you going in a new direction! |

Make a Clasp Coin Purse We will learn to use a piece of cool clasp hardware to make a little coin purse. From this you can make many kinds and sizes of purses. Maybe it will make a great little gift, maybe you will keep it for yourself:)

Make a Personalized Lanyard This is an easy class where we learn a few simple techniques to make a one of a kind lanyard. Nothing can stop you now! I use a lanyard for keeping my thread snipping scissors handy while I sew and craft, others use lanyards for their keys, swipe cards or as a dog walking handle. This is an easy personal handmade gift idea.

Sewing with Knits Sewing with knits is easier than you think. We will share some of the factors that throw people off when they sew with the stretchy stuff, and then we will work on a simple project so you can see for yourself just how simple and fun it can be. A sewing machine with zigzag capability is used for this class. We have a couple available for students that would like to use ours. All materials are included $35 per person |
